- suzanne leone Added June 03, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We brought an Apple and Pear cake from there last weekend for my daughter'n'laws birthday cake. When we took it out of the box it was mouldy around the sides and a few spots on the top.
My husband took the cake back and the guy said to him it is not mould it is from another cake that was cooked in the same cake tin before. It is some of the colouring coming off onto the cake.
My husband said it looks like mould the guy said no it's not we just scrape the tins down then re cook in the same tin again.
My husband said YOU DO NOT WASH THE TIN????????? He said no we just scrape it out and start again!
He could not believe what he was hearing!
This is was has promoted me to rite a review as this has to be stopped!!!!!! Those tins MUST be washed out properly for health reasons!
